Congratulations to our local students who now have the freedom of the road.
We are delighted that the following learner drivers, who are all from the Torquay area have now completed the learner syllabus and are now proud owners of full driving licences.
Congratulations to Sophie Walsh of Torquay on passing her practical driving test on the 12th of June.
Sophie stayed cool and calm under pressure during the drive to receive the 1st time pass. Sophie works at Iceland in Torquay and also studies animal management level 3 at South Devon College.
She now is going to start saving for a car to make life easy for herself and less stressful for Mum and Dad.

Congratulations to Teresa Giffard of Torquay on passing her practical driving test on the 12th of June.
Teresa works at the Livermead Cliff Hotel and studies part time at South Devon College.
Having her licence and car will now mean she is able to drive to and from work and College instead of relying on the bus. She is also looking forward to taking her father to Labrador Bay for a nice ice cream.

Congratulations to Kyan Tandy of Torquay who passed his practical driving test on the 20th of June at his 1st attempt and with just 5 driver faults.
Having a licence will give Kyan the independence he is after. Kyan also attends Torquay Boys Grammar School year 12.

A massive congratulations to Laura Groger from Torquay who on the 27th of June after completing her automatic intensive course passed her practical driving test 1st time at Newton Abbot Driving Test Centre with only 8 minor driving faults.
Laura did a brilliant job controlling those nerves and took her time also kept her eyes moving and did what was required to pass.
Laura told her instructor Guy Parfitt “this is gunna help a lot….Yey independence…”

Lucie was studying at Torquay Academy but with all her exams now over she is off to study law at Plymouth University.

A massive well done to Michael Beresford from Torquay who passed his practical driving test on the 28th of June at Newton Abbot Driving Test centre.
Michael produced an incredible drive and passed his test at the 1st attempt with only 1 minor driving fault! What a great result!
Michael can’t wait to get behind the wheel of his Corsa and drive himself and family around. No more bus trips!
