When choosing a driving school for my lessons, the main criteria was a kind instructor who would build my confidence, and wouldn’t put pressure on me. Also Good reviews and good comments on Instructor were very important.

Simon was amazing! I never understood driving before when I was with a previous school and I had had 40+ hours, so when I moved to Simon I had high hopes that I could learn: within the first lesson I had with Simon

I’d learnt more in that one class, than I had in those 40 hours with a previous instructor and I knew I could actually do this!

I honestly think Simon is the best Instructor there is! He has a calm teaching method but also fills you with confidence and makes it feel like driving is possible! He’s also great to have a laugh with yet gets the job done all in one!

Learning to drive was a lot easier than I thought. But all down to my instructor (Kevin Creagh) being relaxed and very patient.

The most important criteria when choosing a driving school was Being able to learn in an automatic car and have an instructor that was going to be patient and not rush me. being well known with a good local reputation was also very important.

My learning experience was better than I expected and my driving instructor, Rafik was patient and always clear in his instructions. I enjoyed my lessons.

The most important reason for choosing Williams driving school was to learn in a stress free and friendly environment, learning to drive can be daunting and I wasn’t sure how I would react therefore the positive atmosphere with Lisa, provided a comfortable learning environment.

As it took me a couple years after turning 18 to feel ready to learn, it was important that when I did start driving that I could do so as soon as possible and luckily with Williams I was able to find an opening without a long wait.

It was not nearly as scary as I thought it was, it can be a really nerve racking experience and everyone reacts differently however I really enjoyed and looked forward to my lessons. Lisa made driving feel easy and fun and I didn’t think that I would feel that way about driving until way after I passed!

Lisa was clear and informative and her method of teaching was very easy to understand. In the beginning she would use printed out images to help visualise the teachings, this really helped it become less overwhelming as when first starting there are so many things to think about.

I would recommend Williams and Lisa, especially to those who are feeling slightly apprehensive. When taking such a big step it’s so important to feel safe and comfortable and Lisa provided both of those things. Though I am so excited that I am now able to drive by myself, I really will miss my lessons and thats the exact feeling I think you should get after passing your test and that is a true reflection of my instructor Lisa Zimmerman.

Dave is old school and very down to earth. For me, that allowed me to relax into the course with ease. I was relaxed to ask for help when needed and felt he explained things well to me. Ultimately, making me a better driver and fast!
