Congratulations to our local students who now have the freedom of the road.

We are delighted that the following learner drivers, who are all from the Newton Abbot area have now completed the learner syllabus and are now proud owners of full driving licences.

Congratulations to Lauren Woolley of Newton Abbot who passed her practical driving test on the 8th of May at her 1st attempt with 5 minors.

Having a licence will make it easier to get to work and also give Lauren much needed independence.

Best wishes from your Driving Instructor Lisa Zimmermann and all the team here at Williams Driving School.

“I chose Williams Driving School because of their good reputation. I also needed to choose a driving school who had times to match my availability in the evenings and on weekends.

I found learning to drive to not be as complicated as I thought it would be. My Driving Instructor Lisa Zimmermann had good teaching methods. Lisa adapted to the way that I learn which is what was so good! The learning log also really helped.

I will be recommending the school to others because the availability is good, pricing is fair and they care more about the pupil than getting more money out of them!”

Lauren Woolley, Newton Abbot

Congratulations to Will Lovell from Denbury, near Newton Abbot who passed his practical driving test on the 9th of May 2019 at his very 1st attempt.

Passing will make a big difference to Will as he lives in a small village and the bus service is not great. He’s looking forward to no more taxis or relying on lifts.

Best wishes and safe driving from your Driving Instructor Anna Wood and the rest of the team here at Williams Driving School.

Congratulations Greg Lorien on an outstanding performance to get the job done with training taking place in Newton Abbot. Greg passed his trailer test on his 1st attempt with only a few minor faults.

Greg went for one of our shorter courses due to his experience and knowledge of Exeter and it all went to plan. If you need your trailer license make sure you get in touch to see if we can help.

Best wishes from your instructor Steve and all the team here at Williams Driving School.

A massive congratulations to Alice Widger who on the 20th of June passed her practical driving test at the Newton Abbot Driving Test Centre with only 3 minor driving faults.

Alice did a brilliant job controlling those nerves and took her time also kept her eyes moving and did what was required to pass. Alice told her instructor Guy Parfitt “brilliant next stop the beach once it stops raining.”

Good luck out on the road and remember give me a wave then you see from your Driving Instructor Guy Parfitt and all the customer service team here at Williams Driving School.

“I chose Williams Driving School as I wanted someone who was laid back and that would make me feel comfortable and supported. It was also important I would get along with them.

I found my lessons to be very enjoyable and I felt comfortable. My driving instructor Ian had very good teaching methods. Ian is a credit to the school. Due to me being a very nervous I wanted to go with a company who would make me feel at ease. Ian had everything I was looking for in a driving instructor. He is very much a people person and this made me look forward to each lesson rather than worrying about them.

I will be recommending to others as it is a brilliant school and Ian is amazing!! There is nothing that I would have changed about my experience, it was brilliant!!”
