Congratulations to our local students who now have the freedom of the road.

We are delighted that the following learner drivers, who are all from the Newton Abbot area have now completed the learner syllabus and are now proud owners of full driving licences.

Congratulations to Colin White on passing his practical trailer test on the 26th of June at Exeter Test Centre, with training taking place in Newton Abbot.

Colin needed his trailer test to tow much heavier combinations of vehicles that his previous licence would not allow. With his experience there were a few bad habits but fortunately enough he was patient and held his nerve on the test day.

Best wishes from your instructor Steve Croucher and all the team here at Williams Driving School.

On a scorching hot day Scott Overington managed to keep his cool and pass his practical trailer test on his 1st attempt at Exeter Test Centre, with training taking place in Newton Abbot.

Scott passed with only a handful of minor faults and was superb during the exercise manoeuvre where it must’ve been extremely hot sat in the car.

Scott went for one of our three day shared courses which work extremely well especially if you know the person, so if you are like Scott and want to share the cost of a course please get in touch and see if we can help .

Congratulations Scott from everyone at Williams Driving School.

Congratulations to Simon Revell for passing his practical trailer test on his 1st attempt with only 3 driver faults at Exeter Test Centre, with training taking place in Newton Abbot.

Simon had no previous experience with towing but took to it like a duck to water. It was a pleasure to help Simon to achieve the pass as it was needed for work purposes, but can be used in so many other situations.

Best wishes Simon from everyone here at Williams Driving School.

Congratulations to Nicola Scoon from Bishopsteignton, near Newton Abbot who held her nerve today in the rain to pass her practical driving test in Newton Abbot on the 4th of July.

Nicola is now on a car hunt so she can be more independent and take her children out and about.

Best wishes and safe driving from your driving instructor Claire Hancock and the whole team here at Williams Driving School.

A massive congratulations to American born Rayne who on the 5th of July gained her own Independence Day by passing her automatic practical driving test at Newton Abbot Driving Test Centre with only 3 minor driving faults.

Rayne did a fantastic job and kept her eyes moving and did what was required to pass.

Rayne told her instructor Guy “yay independence…” good luck out on the road and remember give me a wave then you see me. Safe driving!

Best wishes from your driving instructor Guy Parfitt and all the customer service team here at Williams Driving School.

Congratulations to Zack Smith on passing his practical trailer test on his 1st attempt with only 3 minor faults but giving a faultless drive. at Exeter Test Centre, with training taking place in Newton Abbot.

Zack came to us for work purposes where he will be towing much heavier combinations, he took to the training well and already had previous experience with reversing.

With his knowledge of trailers it allowed us to really get to grips with the bad habits and it shows with the faultless drive he produced for the examiner.

Congratulations Zack and we wish you all the best in the future from everyone here at Williams Driving School.
